Thanks everyone for all the lovely messages! Baby Lane and I are doing great, and I've posted a few pics of him here . . . he's a great sleeper at the moment so fingers crossed he stays that way!
Spent last night feeding him and writing first paragraph of next book in my head, but then couldn't get to sleep because I was so worried I might forget it. Note to self: put notebook beside bed for late night scribbling!

Used to work as a health visitor in Scotland and got to visit all the new babies, so pictures like this remind me how much I miss it!
